That sounds worth trying. Prior to this, the only one I ever saw on the market went for around 300 bucks. Nothing like a frosty margarita when
you're out in the middle of nowhere.

The one I previously bought is one that I can either plug into wall outlet, or plug into a car cig lighter. It worked terrific, until the fuse began
to consistently blow in the cigarette lighter thingy. I gave up on it.
I am going to try this one. It sounds intriguing, and I like the idea I can use it anywhere.
Yes, there is nothing like a frosty margarita on a hot day. I normally drink mine on the rocks, but when it is over 90 F. I like them blended, with
lots of quality tequila of course.

Restoration hardware used to have a hand-crank model. But you had to mount it securely using something like a c-clamp on something stout.
Have Restoration Hardware stores gone under up there yet?????

I've seen the Coleman unit in person at Costco - and thought they were kind of big. By the specs it looks to have a lot of "ice-crushing" power
though.
I still have a smaller Black & Decker HandyBlender (over 10 years old and not sold anymore) in my camping gear - maybe not as powerful as this
Coleman unit, but not as big, and (still!) works for me. Noticed this other cordless model was available in quite a few online stores (under $40):

If you're referring to the hand-crank unit, it's kind of interesting.
Like Hook pointed out, it's easiest with the clamp - notice the narrow base you have to work with otherwise.
With the hand crank unit, this model's pretty solid, and has *two* different gear-ratios you can put the crank in to work with.
And for those loving power - there's always an "extreme" blender, the most tame of which might be the "Daiquiri Whacker" - or for Baja-philes, maybe
call it a "Margarita Mad-Spinner" or such...

Great browsing store. Bought there stock years ago when it was $12.00. Bought ten times more when it went to $1.50. Last year they were acquired by
Sears. Cashed out.
Always enjoy walking thru and looking at the little gadgets and stuff you never thought you needed.
We had a old cigarette lighter blender that finally gave up the ghost when I put chunks of ice in it and fried the gears at Requeson a few years back.
The campers around us were bumbed because Barb was making rum smoothies at sunset c-cktail hour every day and we had to switch to hand shaken mai tais
and daiquris.

Had the misfortune of installing some dark amber sconces from RH a few years ago. Why would anyone put dark amber sconces in their BATHROOM?!?!?
How could you ever see if your teeth were clean or ...any other parts for that matter.... with dark amber glass sconces?
Sorry for the tangent...... that was my bad introduction to RH. Way over priced...........
We bought some air mattresses for camping along with an ac air pump and a cig-lighter dc/ac converter adapter thingy. Figgured we had it all set up!
Went to a little, out of the way camp site, tried to pump up the air mattresses and it kept tripping out the dc/ac converter thingy.
Checked the Max wattage for the dc/ac thingy.....100 watts.
Draw on the ac air pump...........................about 750 watts!
We ended up asking a neighboring motorhomer if they would fire up their generator so we could pump up our air mattresses to sleep in the tent.
They were great sports and we had a great 4-day camping/boating trip at Lake Roosevelt, WA.
And the Blender looks cool! literally...........

The gasoline powered Daquiri Whacker works awesome and lasted for many years. We always took it when cove camping along the Colorado River. It's
biggest drawback was the noise. It could be heard from several coves away so everytime we fired it up we had to deal with a crowd all holding their
glasses out
