We were at the In/Out Burger in National City during the time of the Quake and felt nothing. Our son was at our home in Punta Banda and did not feel anything. Paulina--I will drive by your place tomorrow and look, but it sounds like nothing happened in Punta Banda.

NO Scheisse, Senor.

I was responding to viabaja's note about the Tsunami warning.

Sarcastically, of course.

The few newsworthy stories that I have had some information about or was involved with have always been changed or sqrewed up by the media. Things have to be exagerated to get the talking heads to look good. And boy...some of them do look good.

Well shoot...I thought my place was gonna be beachfront.

Thanks for checking Paulina. Sorry I missed you in Ensenada, if I did.

Glad that Camp GECKO Heights is okay! LOL

I'm in downtown LA for the week; didn't feel anything at the Marriot.

Doug/Vamonos...........A very nice guy named Steve has leased the old banos and it working slowly (like the rest or us, as pesos permit) to improve his place.

A non-event in Mulege except, perhaps, for electrics being hinky yesterday... which really isn't unusual.

there was another small quake last evening...juan called me from the beach house to ask me if I felt it...nothing out here on the rocks!!

I dont know if I mentioned before that when things were really rockin out here, a "vidente" or "seer" came out to our house and suggested we move because he "saw" a catastrophe coming and we would be in danger...hmmm....he explained that the whole area from just north of GN to San Ignacio was very weak and had too much salt water seeping in underneath in all the little fault cracks and that soon a big earthquake would break it apart and Baja Sur would become an island...hmmm...cause for reflection for sure...but hey....ya pays yer money and takes yer chances...right? We did put off building for a year but when things quiet down everyone forgets about it and goes ahead with their lives and plans.

But I DO think about this from time to time...anything is possible...but I might get hit by a bus too....whatever....the trick is to live every day fully...happily with your heart full of love and joy.

you heard it here first!
