Steve, it appears that this is only happening in the very late afternoon/evening - looks like the wind starts coming from the north and pushes the hot
air off the Socal desert down that way and it collides with the humidity off the mainland and superheats the place for a bit - check it in an hour
from now and it will be heading down to a liveable level.

Heat in BOLA
Not the first time ive told this story.
One year we went to BOLA around Labor Day
We got there around 2:00pm the temp was around 95. We went out on my friends boat for a few hours then came in around 6:00pm. cooked and ate dinner.
Next thing you know it got really windy. A really hot wind by 1:00AM it was over 105 then the wind stopped dead. Then out came all the biting bugs. It
was too hot stay in the tent so I covered myself with 100% Deet and layed out on a lounge chair all night.
It took three years and a whole lot of Baja trips before I could talk my wife in to going back to BOLA

Stevo,
Beach Bob has a brand new weather station set up. He could probably give you an accurate reading if you sent him an email.
The temps on his patio last week were nice and cool (90s) as were the Pacificos (very cold).

I am so glad to hear that, going down in a week or so to do Abrbrams Starband repoint and was not looking forward to being on his roof in those kinds
of temps.
Beach Bobs patio? Does that mean a truce has been called? Hope so.

Congratulations Paulina...
Now, if we could only get Beach Bob to do weekly (or whenever) posts on happenings in Bahia he wanted to do a few years ago...
Larry... can you get Bob online via Doc's dish? WiFi? (provided he wants it still)

David,
Sorry for the late reply, just got back stateside. No need to congratulate me as I don't deserve it, I didn't do anything. It only took time and three
people to come to the same place at the same time.
I believe that Bob has internet as he offered it up to us if needed.
Larry would know more on that subject.
It would be nice to hear from Bob every once and a while with an up to date local report.
All the best,
P<*)))>{

Bob is on-line when he wants to be through Docs dish. He does check his e-mail.
The weather station that is showing those hi temps will be shutoff in a week or so when I get down there to repoint the dish. Mike will fix it and
turn it back on when he gets there in Oct.

Hey Bob! How about getting on Nomad?
