I have experienced Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3, & Cat 4 storms, been in the NE quadrant of the eyewall and through the eye of two storms. That's plenty
and I don't care to do it again thank you. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
20-30 miles distance from the eyewall makes all the difference in the world.
The animation is an accurate assessment.
For those in the path of H. Rick, my advice is 'salsipuedes'. If you can't leave then take all precautions and I wish you the best. Safety first.
