Mulege Hotels

Can anyone in Mulege let me know the staus of the Hacienda and Las Casitas? Are they open and operating again or still refurbishing after the hurricane? Thanks.

Hi Kurt:

I somehow forgot to put Las Casitas as being open on my page:

http://www.lasecomujeres.org/jimena_files/rebirth.html

When we were there a few weeks ago, the rooms were ready but the kitchen was still not quite open. I've sent an email to Carlos asking for verification of both hotels. The Hacienda looked pretty bad from outside, but we didn't check inside to find out what the actual condition of the business was. Hope to hear soon.

Hope you are well!

Debra

Thanks Debra, Everything is good for Kathy and I except she needs a little more vacation time for our Baja trips. Very curious about the Hacienda, I still have emotional ties to the place from my stays there back in the 70's. It was my home away from home for a number of years and I hope it recovers.

@ Kurt
see my answer to you under Mulege Divers
but again, Mulege is back to normal ..... nearly.
Of course you can see damage everywhere.
Especially on the other side of the river @ the Orchard, Oasis, Miranda etc down to the Serenidad.
The riverroad @ the Orchard is still not passable and it'll take more time.
But again, Hacienda is a running operation again.
