Late this afternoon I noticed those "washboard abs" swells coming in from the southeast....hmmm....and it was blowing 20 knots from the west.
The swell is building constantly so we had to deal with the anchored pangas and tomorrows clients.
They wisely decided to make tonights c-cktail hour extend a bit longer and take a rest day tomorrow....good idea.
Last I heard was they were heading to the palapa bar.
I digress....swell is arriving now and expected to peak tomorrow...sooner than I expected.
geez woody...wish you were here

Friends that were to arrive in Cabo tomorrow on a cruise ship called tonight and said that it was announced to the ship that they would pass the port
of Cabo San Lucas, soooo we will not be going to meet them. Not sure where they are going........ but I am sure they will still have a good time.
Not that we would have to deal with traffic or anything, I was in Costco the other day and could have shot off a cannon and hit no one.

I'm glad Rick has weakened and the projected path has dropped but remember there is still a lot of rain possible.

Some of the highest rain totals we've had were from hurricanes the never crossed the mountains. Those spin offs can be bad.

we call it "courduroy to the horizon" when those suckers line up like that. if we get any surf it'll be a bonus. we're looking forward to a few days
of TUNA and relaxation.....
good to hear Rick is fading from the weekend projections!

Still waiting on the east cape. Drizzle all night and one nice little shower. That's about it. Surf still not as big as it was two days ago. However a
light wind has been on it all night so it is too sloppy for my taste.
Got the shovel at the ready for when big rain hits. Little rivlets can be turned with a spade to go thataway before they become erroding rivers.
Running the generator since we haven't had sun for a while. Glad to have backup. All is well.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

skies, no wind at the moment...good luck down below.

Spoke with the in-laws in La Paz last night and guess they got quite a bit of rain. I think it was coming in under the doorways! Not too much wind,
though.
Seeing the history of those hurricanes was pretty interesting.
I've heard my hubby and his mother talk about Liza. He must have been 8 or 9 when that hit La Paz, but he remembers trucks rolling through with
bodies from when the arroyo flooded (or the dam broke). Looking at the numbers, looks like that was, "the big one"! I'm sure it still has lasting
memories for many in La Paz!

Much ado about nothing here in Buena Vista. Highlight of the night was 2 double Yahtzees, if which 1 was mine!

Unbelievable yet true! Never trust a storm track more than a week off 5 days out 3 days
away a day old.
Cabo must be paying protection fees.
