Just what IS first degree sodomy as opposed to second or third degree sodomy?

Lying in wait? Premeditated?

Oh yeah, and is sodomy actually illegal still in some states?

I still want to know what the case is against him. They obviously put a low enough bail on him that allowed him to flee. Why don't we all let the justice system work as opposed to assuming this guy is guilty. Anyone out there want to be in the same position? Last time I checked, our system of jurisprudence provided for innocence until proven guilty. I think you all would want that same consideration.

Yes, but he did jump bail and run to Mexico .....
He has the right to a fair trial if he was there.
I'm sure what he will get will be more than fair !!

Estebanis,

I thank you for this posting. I wish that all those reading this thread could print out the FBI notice and post it at the local mercados, mini mercados, liquor/ heilo stores, hardware, Oxxo, Pemex, etc. You get my point.

Get the word out to the locals that this slime bag might be in the area, preying on their children.

His bail may have been set low enough for him to scramble out of Country, perhaps the judge who set that amount was asleep on the bench. Perhaps he missed his morning cup of coffee that day. Maybe this gentleman has the bucks to bail his ass out. It's all a crap shoot when it comes down to it.

If he's innocent, why did he run? Send him back to plead his case, to prove his innocence all the while keep the innocent children safe.

My two pesos, and I have more, but I'm sparing you all the details.

If he was/is innocent why run?? Running seems to indicate guilt.

Generally...........someone in this type of (alleged) criminal activity is not a first time offender......it would be interesting to know his criminal history.....of course, if he has one.

Why did he run?
I don't live in a court of law. I make my assumptions and decisions based on my feelings. If not, I'd have to be content with the court decision that Simpson is innocent.
What do you think about that?

The justice system can't work unless the guy is sent back to face it. Obviously he didn't accept the invitation the first time.

The real justice system has more than one resolution.

And it only "works" when the recipient is happy about the outcome. It's a fickle thing.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of as much as $1,000 for information leading to Riley's arrest. Doesn't seem like much of a reward for the alleged crime, yet his "note" says, Riley wrote in a note to his: "I'm not going to spend time in jail." Plus there is no mention of priors.
