I bought this one several years ago. It is a 1989 KDX200. It had less than 1000 miles on it, and it was served flawlessly ever since. I couldn't be happier.

My first trip to Baja on a bike was 1994 on my 1981 R80 G/S
(just sold it:( ):

My next few trips were on a heavier beast, the R1100 GS:
http://motoged.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Oilhead-GS-Touring/10...

A bit heavy in the sand :no:

And then I got smarter:

And then a bigger tank:

Just so I could see Baja's best:

And a few for VGABNDO:

And my favourite kind of road;

I took a long break from dirt bikes then went out to buy my 16th. motorcycle, and found that I didn't have legs long enough to ride a dirt bike. It took some custom suspension mods, but I have a 32" seat height on the "swiss-army-knife-of-dirtbikes" Suzuki DR 650 Very forgiving for a "vintage" scooter.

Hasn't been to BAJA yet. Maybe after I retire it from motocross!
