Worldwide Corruption Index- Mexico in the middle

From 182 evaluated countrys, Mexico is on the 89th place. Making it a good middlefield with a little less corruption over the last 7years....

But who knows, who paid who for those results:spingrin:

Entschuldigen Sie bitte??

The report says that Mexico dropped 17 places this year to 89 from 72 last year.

http://rosaritoenlanoticia.blogspot.com/2009/11/la-corrupcio...

El Índice de Percepción de Corrupción en México, elaborado por Transparencia Internacional, empeoró este año en comparación con 2008, al pasar el país del lugar 72 al 89 y de una puntuación de 3.6 a 3.3.

Would it not make some sense that since the government has escalated its war on the cartels, that more corruption has been uncovered? That there is no actual increase in corruption; only that it has become more transparent?

Which means, under your theory, that Mexico's corruption was understated in the past?

Hey bully-goat,
You left off impeached Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, Ex Louisiana congressman William Jefferson and his freezer full of cash, among others…Or is that kind of corruption ok, since they are democrats?

Well then, perhaps you would care to explain how the US was ranked #18 last year under Bush and is now #19?

"Well then, perhaps you would care to explain how the US was ranked #18 last year under Bush and is now #19?"

The simple answer to the US going from #18 to #19 in a short year is called "Chicago Politics". I wonder if they're still fishing ballot boxes out of Lake Michigan?
