Crossing last night

Just thought I'd mention that I crossed on foot (returned) at SY last night at 10:30. There were only 2-3 cars per lane and no one ahead of me walking through.

It was pretty jammed up approaching the border at 2:00 p.m. yesterday. I think they were looking for the 46" Samsung in the back of my car. Sailed right through once we got to border.

Hmm... wise words, but if it doesn't go beyond the Nomads I think I'll be safe.

Same thing tonight crossing at 10:15. Virtual ghost town. The lack of tourism has a snowball effect. The fewer people that go, the fewer want to go. Frankly it's a lot less fun when you can't avoid the aggressive types, you can't "blend in to the crowd". You are the crowd. I found myself really losing both my patience and my temper tonight. NO, I don't want to buy that ! NO, I don't want my shoes shined! NO, I don't want any weed! NO! NO! NO!

It gets tiresome. I go to see my girl so it's like I'm going to stop, but I can easily see how people going "for fun" may seek other forms of entertainment. It's sad.
