The Health Ministry Swept through my Farmacia yesterday.

My business got a rare visit from the Health Ministry doing an inspection to see if we were in compliance. We passed, but I did notice 3 other Farmacias in the Tourist Zone that got Suspencion Seals across their doors. I wonder if this will help business having less competition for a few days? That made it a good day. In twenty two years we have never had our operations suspended.
I paid $875 pesos to have a left front wheel bearing replaced in my 2001 Mazda Protege. Thats about $68 US. I don't know how much of that was labor.
I paid $55 pesos for a haircut. About $4.30
I paid $55 pesos also for 3 Carne Asada Tacos with Flowered Tortillas. They were really good too.

Good one! It is helpful to see what "normal" expenses are in the Baja for those of us who live up north. I appreciate this sort of practical information.

Got any good deals on Viagra? They're like $20 apiece here in the Cali.

Viagra (the generic is $7.00US.) It is 100mg. Most people break them in half. Patents on Medicine only last 5 years in Mexico(18 years in the US), so Viagra has been in Generic here for a while. Nice to see your still around Dennis. I had almost forgotten about you. I wonder if Winston is still with us. Do you ever talk to him?

I'd expect a special price to be around $20 a gram.

How much for the real ones?

I tried the real Viagra, plus the Cialis, plus the generics. They all made my vision turn to a blue hue.
This was due to the vision side effects the doctor's talked about when taking the pills.
I asked if I could take them until I needed glasses.:?:
The doctor emphatically stated that I would go blind before I needed glasses.

Yeah...It's been a few months since I was in your store talking with you. I'll be by mañana while I bring LuLu to the vet for shots.
We'll have to call Winston. I'll find his number.
Anyway, I'm glad you're posting. You have a lot of down'n dirty knowledge this board will enjoy.

Hasta Mañana, David.

I saw Mike Hill a few years ago in Ensenada. He didn't get rich in Cabo, but he did get to hang out with a few movie stars. He was his same old self. He is a fun guy.

I was in Cabo last weekend and spent most of my time with Mike. He owns a restaurant called Miguelocos and just came out with his own Tequila , "Arco Del Cabo". The bottle is shaped just like the arch. He is doing great and he just may be rich soon.

He was served a cease and desist order last weekend from the attorneys who represent Cabo Wabo Tequila because the name "Cabo" was in his Tequila as well.

I will stop by your place soon.

You're kidding. Is this the same Mike that wanted to be a Rock and Roll star? He was lost when he was up here. I'm glad he put it together. His pretty wife had to be behind him all the way.
