Can you spell
U2U ? I highly recommend using it for this lesson. I'm sure there are those that will help.
You have helped some friends before. That is a good thing.
Don't be pretentious on here unless it's a story that makes everyone laugh.
This is advice from someone who knows what's up and may he rest in off road heaven!

Dave , Bruce, ...
None of us are without sin, in the world of bad spelling or typoos... oops, typos!!!
------------------------------------------------------------
Also, remember that rare fellow, 'Baja Spell Checker' only is concerned with Baja place names being spelled correctly.
So, it's okay to spell 'there' when you mean 'their' or 'they're', but don't spell Alfonsina's with a PH !!!

Hurray for everyone
for handling that so well. Bruce, we have so little to go by in getting to know you, spelling and diction tend to play a huge part.

Besides the spelling fun, I can support bruce's claim a bit
OK...trying to watch my spaling heree after everyone beat up on "Good Sport Bruce", I can support a bit of what he is saying. I live 24/7/12 at
Posada Beach, 14 miles south of mulege. We no longer have a problem of this kind because we now have 24 hour guard observation. Prior to the guards
three years ago, a car or two would vanish each year. We were having 4-5 houses broken into each summer when the beach was vacant. But the two
"palapa-type day spots" near to us here- Escondida and Coco's Beaches -are hit with car break-ins maybe as often as once a week between the two of
them. The owner of the campground right next to us, Roy at EcoMundo, says they sit up on the hillside above the beaches and wait for folks to go out
in the water and then hit the car for stuff. As always, it's just a very few that cause word to spread generating this Big Problem In Mexico. I
suggest that these folks who come here, thinking that they have escaped these type of problems in the US by coming here, be reminded that they are
still far safer than at home overall. Crimes here involving car break-ins and gas station scams are about as big as it gets. The violence of most
big citys, in California anyway, cannot be found here in this area.

First off, I say Bruce, don't install the spelling corrector. It'll sap the soul out of your spiel.
Second, how much would it cost to bribe a cop in Mulege to set up a sting at one of those beaches? I'm sure that a prior theft victim would be willing
to front the bait car or truck. I personally would be willing to chip in $50.00 toward the incarceration of a caught thief if the sentence is 5 years
or more in prison.

Slightly off-topic:
I was in the area last week and drove down to Punta Suenos. Any comments/warnings/observations on this place?
TIA
