I am so sorry for your loss, Ken. We hope that your family can pull together to console and then raise the boy with lots of love.
Colorado Dude.
That is a pretty far fetched idea,Dude, but indeed a creative one.
Certainly better than the Drug Warpath that has not and never will work.

If it were rumored that if all alcohol were tainted with human feces that alcohol related deaths would decrease.
What if......????
See how ludicrous these arguments can be.

Ken, what a sad day. It's helpful to know there are(you) others who can comfort and help the young man.

Oh, and about that truck. Do they think the bad guys had time make an escape or are they out there somewhere holed up between Gonzaga and the only
possible escape route(s) to a well traveled carrera?

Before things get too conspiratorial, there are lots of ways to monitor flights coming in to Mexico. And alfonsina's is the perfect place to wait for
a plane to come along, remote, well traveled by planes, property owners with planes etc. Not everyone is "in on it". I have had friends monitor my
progress in flight on the Internet in near real time.
We could start arming pilots... Tsa be damned! Count your internationally valid pilot certificate as your carry permit. Oh, and hang plane thieves,
just like horse thieves in the old west.
Sorry for the rant, I love gonzaga bay, and hate bullies. I'm sure you can guess my feelings about airplane thieves.
Fly low, land on roads.

Good information and yes Gonzaga is a popular place. Everytime we have been there there have been a few planes.
Bahia Asuncion was different. Not many planes land there, and the one stolen was a Mexican hospital plane---probably was an inside job with someone
reporting when the plane was coming.
Is the Bahia de Los Angeles airport used by many and on a regular basis?
That is not to say there is not a rat in the system----very well could be.

Oops. My post copied three times. I tried to edit out the third copy and all three disappeared.
It must be a conspiracy that my posts just vanished....
Steve and Debby, I too smell a raton.

That confirms it----they got your post.
It certainly would not be a surprise to find a rat.

The rat was probably in Mexicali, recording flight plans.

i.e. inside help.

didn't say - just that the feds quickly checked all the roads in and out for a long distance and the rig cannot be spotted.
they think it has been hidden in the area which allows a lot of places, ranchos, support staff - residential workers, a few businesses - what ever.
you'd be surprized how much civilization there is around even in remote places like gonzaga. From the air you see hundreds of shacks and ranchitos and
campos all over the area, most of baja even.
poor people deserate will do most anything for some bucks.
i'm just sayin'.....i have no clue really.
