lightning in Baja - Skeet is RIGHT

some one asked - Why do Churches have Lighting Rods.?

Skeeter replied -

"I do not know especially if they are placed on Top of the Church as Lightning comes from the GROUND Upward!!!."

Aha!! Skeet you old sly dog you. How astute! You are "proof" that two eyed tequila is good brain food.
Few people around actually know this fact as the scientists had it all wrong for eons - Why? because they could not "see" it until the advent of 4000 FPS strope digital photography made it possible to see the effect in super slo mo.
Lightning CAN go cloud to cloud but when it appears to strike the earth from above it actually is the earth's field charge arcing up to connect (natural tendency of electron flow) to the sky's relative opposite charge.

having just completed a certification by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practicioners ( google NABCEP) i was apprised of these interesting facts.

These are not facts, these are only opinions. There are no facts any more, just opinions. This is a THEORY of how lightning works. We all have seen it coming from the sky. This is a plot to disprove biblical fact that bad things like plagues come from the sky. This is another liberal plot to undermine the very underpinnings of our great nation UNDER GOD. Certified Energy Practicioners indeed. A bunch of hopped up hippies from Bezerkeley trying to pass off their godless lifestyle on our sacred, pure land. If lightning came from the ground then they would put lightning rods UNDER buildings, not on top of them!! Haven't you ever seen a lightning rod. All lightning rods in god's country of Texas have their lightning rods on TOP of their buildings like God intended.

Why in the world didn't you post this offensive thread off topic where it belongs.

So many of todays's Scientist get lock into one thing and do not take the socalled sceond Look at what that have stuided.

In Baja there are several things that they looked act for a short period of time, made a conclusion and never returned. The Giant Squid is on e of them..

Also"Where do the yellow tail go when they leasve the Sea of Cortez.

They still have not done a Study about the Birds and their habits on Delfonso Island.
There is a great study done by a young man from the University of New Mexico on Pelicans.

It appears that this thread is getting way to intellectual for me. While you Einstein’s are at it, could you please splain (I have Lucy Ricardo to thank for that) why:

1: Why we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

2: Why we call them apartments when they are all together?

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

i always wondered when i was very young if you could make a real Frankenstein monster using a freshly killed rabbit and 120 volts at about 30 amps.
the answer is no, it won't return to life but with some KC Masterpiece (this was before i made my own killer sauces and rubs) applied after enough curent you can eat your experiement.

Then why do the dummies put the lightning rod on top of the steeple? Why don't they bury it in the ground under the altar?

They do install lightning rods underground. Just look under any big building. Check the Google Earth subterranean view and you'll see them all.

Seems like the cartels are running the southern part. I don't know about the rest of the place but, given enough time with our Bill Of Rights and they'll probably run that part too.

Dennis: This is a Cold Hard Fact;

Texas is run by the Baptists!

I am not kidding you at all. Ever wonder why we do not allow Gambling Casinos!

Gues that is why it has it all over California. As California is getting hit by the DEVIL right now.. In fact there is a big meeting right now in Sacto to try to figure it what to do.

...then why does lightning strike the highest point in any location? We have always been taught to get to a lower spot in a lightning storm. Also, we are told to not be the only figure in an open field.

Hey! It has worked for me so far!!!;)

Cattle head to the lowest point, usually a ditch, at first sign of a lightning storm. They like to be close to the action.:biggrin:
