" 2010 SANTA MARIA MISSION NOMAD RAID(CANCEL DUE TO BAD WEATHER)..

Im looking for a few WEEKEND-WARRIORS to make this trip happen.
The goal " SANTA MARIA DE LOS ANGELES MISSION(300 MILES+/- FROM tIJUANA), with David's K widowmaker and all..
The plan in progress( this could change any time). Leave Tijuana on Friday Feb- 12 and come back on Tuesday the 16 one day afther Presidents Day. OR you can pick your own days the idea is for everybody to leave from Rancho Santa Ynez to the Mission on Saturday.
We need a good group of people to make this happen.
So let us know by voting in this poll if you are interested..
Any idea or opinion will be taken in to consideration..

I'm the "want to go but don't have a truck" guy. If this trip happens and anyone has room for a passenger I would ride down to Rcho Sta Ines and meet up with you for the trip to the mission.

Kurt most likely I will be riding solo maybe one person with me, the wife doesn't want to go. I have a full size Dodge Ram (4door) you are welcome to ride with me...

I ended up having to back out of the last Nomads "fun ride" and I have been waiting for the next one ever since. I just got me some new tires too!

Jose, one more catagory to vote on could be: Yes, I want to go and will if the economy permits!

That would be me... Need to take the new Tacoma in there so it can get its first underbody damage! :tumble:

Thats great! I would ride down ( I carry camping gear on the bike) and after Santa Maria continue down south for a week or so. I have always wanted to visit this mission so am grateful for the opportunity to ride with you.

Okay, Baja Angel is putting in for those days off, so we are planning on BREAKING (IN) the new Tacoma with its first trip to Mision Santa Maria and over the WIDOWMAKER!

(PS [shameless plug, but for good water conservation]: It would help if I had some more work between now and then, so everyone in north San Diego County that would like their irrigation system or landscape lighting upgraded, please call! Online consulting for distant do-it-yourselfers, too.)

You may get to pick from several rides! While we tend to pack the back seat area with clothes bags, etc., we could easily make room in the new Tacoma if we are able to go on this trip... We had the pleasure of meeting you at Viva Baja Cactus, 3 years ago!
