Ok. so my post right now is not exactly linear to the thread. But, as I was reading through, I was reminded of a strange irony. Over the years, the
pot available has been genetically refined so that it is much more potent than the crap we smoked in college. Within the same timeframe, the Feds,
using the threat of withholding highway funds to the states, basically forced them to cut the legal blood alcohol limit in half from .16 to .08.

You know I always thought that the "concept" of America was ones ability to do anything they wanted, provided it did not "harm" anyone.. but
themselves!!
Seems we have moved a very long, long way from that....
If one really considers how much information is maintained in "data bases" on each individual who has been entered into the data base... it should
cause some degree of concern.
However, I file my taxes online with the IRS, renew my drivers license on line, and all banking is online.. I don't receive any bills via mail...
We really are on an electronic leash so to speak.. and when I renew my passport next year, my Government has decided that in addition to all the other
means to track my where abouts they will include a "chip" in my passport..
Let's see, cell phone, computer, passport and throw in a couple of "Keyhole-class” satilites and "where's Johnny" is question that does not have to
be asked any longer...

Don't get fooled by this medical marijuana stuff. Get a prescription for pot and then become part of the DoperDatabase. Good luck ever getting a job
requiring a background check (burger flipper or better) or health insurance.
Stick with your local dealer.

If I had been Drunk or using DOPE when i flew my Plane to Baja with my two Kids I could have Crashed anywhere and killed them!

Sorry everyone for the political debate, i did not mean it to go this way.Im just your typical 23 yr old college student who has a passion for Baja.Im
not some druggie like some people are depicting me as. Anyways booze and cigarettes(ARTIFICIAL these are the real DRUGS,the government just tricked
us) killed 10,000 x more people in the US last yr than a natural plant called marijuana created by GOD. Anyways I'm probably just going to get some
herb(NATURAL unlike booze and cigs) at my destination down in Baja. Sorry for all the trouble and thank for everyones insight.

Whatever you do just be very careful and have a great time.
Going to BOLA you will only go through 1 checkpoint going south. At Maneadero. They usually wave everybody through going south with no inspection.
There are also a few checkpoints on the toll road but again they usually only check the northbound traffic.
Use the same level of caution you would in the US. Maybe a little.
Do not try to cross back into the US with anything!
