Sorry about the previous thread.

Sorry everyone for lighting the fire to a political debate.I honestly did not mean it to go this way.Im just your typical 23 yr old college student who has a passion for Baja. Im not some druggie like some people are depicting me as. Anyways booze and cigarettes(ARTIFICIAL these are the real DRUGS,the government just tricked us) killed 10,000 x more people in the US last yr than a natural plant called marijuana created by GOD. Anyways I'm probably just going to get some herb(NATURAL unlike booze and cigs) at my destination down in Baja. Sorry for all the trouble and I thank you all for everyones insight(everyone has their own opinions).

Take it easy my friends. Enjoy life, with which ever way you choose.

Have a good toke.

Lighting up in the wrong place could extend your visit to Baja, but not in a manner you have planned.

Hey Bro, don't sweat it. It was a honest question. You learned a little about the BajaNomad board.
The are many different types of people on this board. Some more tolerant than others.
Don't ever be afraid to ask a question.

Yep don't sweat it LoyeB, theres a LOT of older folks on this board that still believe the anti MJ propoganda that has been circulated since the 50's!
The mere fact that you already know the truth about the real destructive "legal" drugs in our society is heartening. The young people that I know all know this too! One day (and it WILL come) we will have all soft natural drugs de-criminalized and will be free to expand our consciuosness in a responsible way.
If you ever run across a book by Andrew Weil called A Natural Mind
http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Mind-Investigation-Higher-Cons...
Pick it up, its a great read done from a ethnobotanical POV.

happy 420' ing!

I've traveled to baja since the 60s with the same habits you are talking about. I'm an ole hippie. In those days there were no road blocks, check points and drug sniffing dogs. Just a beautiful safe place where fish abounded. Today however things have changed dramatically. So be super careful if you plan to partake because the prison you will go to if caught will be worse than your worse nightmare. Ever seen "Locked Up Abroad".

Astrobaja:
I may be old but I know the diference between right and wrong>

A young Turd who goes to a party gets High on DOPE, leaves the House, gets in his Car and on the way back Home runs into a Van full of Children and kills 5 of them all for the sake of "natrual Mind Investigation" should not be allowed to live in this Society.

Might I suggest to use you Mind to develop and Maintain a
natrual Mind Culture in some place. You could use it to develop a country , develop Jobs, develop wealth, then you would not have to be concerned with all us Old Folks who would like to live out our "natrual Lives" with out fear of getting killed by a DOPR ADDICT!!!

Skeet,

If you took the time to carefully read my post I said "responsibly" use MJ, that means no driving while under the influence of ANY intoxicant!

I come from a small town in Ontario Canada, I personally know many so called "productive and well thought of" individuals in this town who are doctors, nurses, lawyers who only use MJ when they get home and after the kids are to bed. They do not have a problem with it, just as many who enjoy a glass of wine do not have a problem with alcohol (which BTW kills more people through heath problems, and drunk driving than ALL the other drugs put together!). MJ is part of our society now despite all the mis guided efforts of the gov't to counter it, might as well legalize it and control it just like booze!

You can probably score about 3:00 am on the road near the military base out near La Gringa. Write from prison and let us know how the food is.

Astro baja: If what you say is Logicial, Why oh Why did the mexicano Navy just Blow the Hell out of a Head Drug/Dope Dealer in Mesxco???

DOPERS are Criminals, BOOZERS are Not Criminals!

I agree that Booze does a lot of damage but that does not give anyone the EXCUSE to take DOPE instead.

After many years I can only make the jusgement that DOPE is for the Weak minded, the FEARFUL, the ones who cannot accept and cope with the Real World. So they escape and Feel better and Astro isni't it involved in the New Younger Generation of "If it Feels Good, Just Do It!!'

Those persons who "Circumscribe their Desires and Keep their Passions within due Bounds" will be the ones who are successful and happy in Life!!

Think about it Astro.

So Skeet under your scenario if a person in California has a prescription for MJ from a doctor for medical purposes and purchases his "dope" from a State certified store, it is legal. Then this person is not a considered a "doper" nor a "criminal" to you. Right!
