TO ALL MY FRIENDS HERE AT BAJA NOMAD I WISH EACH OF YOU ALL THE BEST FOR 2010

Auld Lang Syne Lyrics

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine.
We've wandered mony a weary foot,
Sin' days auld lang syne.

We twa hae sported i' the burn,
From morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' days auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.

And ther's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll tak' a right good willie-waught,,
For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For days of auld lang syne.

North bound this morning

Thanks shari........We begin our new year leaving La Paz in a few minutes with our drive home.

Everyone keep an eye out for a maroon accented motor home with a bajanomad sticker on the bumper and give us a hello if you see us northbound the next 5 days!

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

There is still a party going on with singing and fireworks a few blocks away and it's 7 am.

Why can't I party like that anymore?

Am I the only one who didn't make it past 7 PM? Not the party girl I used to be, for sure. Great drinks and dinner with good friends, uh...that's about all I remember. Happy New Year everyone.

Are there a lot of army trucks and police cars in your neighborhood? Maybe they're paying a visit to that house with the big stone lions at the entrance.

No stone lions but a lot of drunk Mexicans hootin and a hollarin. Still singing and shooting of fireworks now at 8 am.

Also I thought owning an automatic weapon was illegal here. I guess I was just uninformed about guns. My neighbors are very well protected from what I heard last night:o

When I lived in town, I'd ride my bicycle everywhere. The days after holidays, there would be 9mm casings all over the place. Throughout the night, you could hear the automatic weapons. They all have guns.

Prospero Aņo Nuevo, Shari and Nomads.

Lucky to catch flights from Orlando to Houston to San Diego yesterday. Got to the Punta Banda celebration just in time for the N.Y. Times Square midnight. Then relaxed with friends and blue moon outside until 12:30 on a nice night.

Was red lighted third trip in a row at SY/TJ at 6PM. Female guard liked my bag tag and didn't inspect thoroughly. That was good, because I was doing some creative beverage importing. Guard asked where I lived and in an effort to encourage cultural exchange, I invited her to my Punta Banda home.

ALLTHEBEST
