RV Paint and upholstery

Someone(I think it was capt. Mike) once said they had a address and maybe a phone number for someone in Baja that did really good work for a reasonable price. We only need the bottom of the RV painted but want everything inside reupholstered. Any one know that address. Thanks:?:

We know some people in Rosarito

but they don't specialize in R.V.'s. They do the undercoating and another shop for upholstery.

Undercoating? They don't do the paint job?

Rosarito, ensenada maybe San Felipe. Anywhere that does good work for reasonable prices. We are on wheels.

I assumed when you said

you want the bottom painted, you meant undercoating.
What color does one paint the bottom of a motorhome?
Yes, they do painting too.

Oh? And what kind of a paint brush would you use to achieve that particular color?

Sorry JR:lol: I should have been more specific. Sometimes on a MH you don't always have to paint the whole thing. Most MH are a different color around the bottom section and the first to look bad. Usually a coat of RV paint and it looks like new again.

Well, I'm sure they can do that.

But, I would get the paint up there and bring it with you. Better paint and selection of colors and that way, you don't have to wait for them to get it delivered.

For $1000.00u.s. I had a new roof put on my van, hinged doors instead of a slider, a few dents taken out, my skylights put back in the new roof, and painted with the original GMC paint.
Pretty good deal I thought.
4 captains chairs and the sleeper couch upholstered for I believe around $300.00u.s.
This was a few years ago but I'm sure the prices are still reasonable. Besides, I get the guys lot's of work so if you need help, let me know.

RV/New Look!

Think you would not find it very hard to find a painter(I know of at least a couple) or an up-holsterer (am presently getting ready to deal with a guy we have consulted) here in San Felipe. The one we are talking with gave us what we thought was good prices and good selections of fabrics for a new cover for our rail anyway. Think we have found the guy to paint it but not sure if he does painting on other than rails, buggy's etc.?
Think you could also get the fabrics you want in the States and bring them to this guy here? As was mentioned, might not take as long to get the job done?

Thanks JR and Meme;D I think we could probably figure out how much paint to bring, but the fabric would be out of our realm especially with also having to do the valences that they put in all MH. Heaven help you if you don't bring enough fabric. Plus we wouldn't have the room to carry all of that. As for time, when we get there we will have plenty of time!:lol:

Sorry to start a second thread but I hit post before I meant to. JR, what did you think of the paint job and upholstery? Both sound like good prices.
Meme, I know you will let me know what you think of yours when done. Ask if they paint Mh.
