Unfortunately, no. I sent her an email and she responded that she thought the dog had found it's home...
Thank you for tracking me down to let me know about that. That was so kind of you.

Amy- we are running one day late but we and the dogs will be looking for Pickle Saturday (Feb 6.) We had an interesting conversation with Irene of
Posada Don Diegos. We were just having a general conversation about her present and past dogs etc and I mentioned that a dog was lost and we were
going to look around on our way to Bahia de Los Angeles. She said, oh, that must be "Pickle." Looks like the word has gotten out and lots of people in
Baja know the story and the Baja dog hunt is still on lots of peoples minds.. Surely that dog is going to show up!!!!! Ron and Patty

Amy, sorry to say we didn't find him. We stopped at two hotels and asked around, and talked to a local on a bike that was about 15 miles north of
where Pickle was last seen. We also got off the road about 4 miles where you lost him and let our dogs run off lease for about an hour in hopes that
they might encounter a strange new friend named Pickle- unfortunately nothing. We will be leaving Bahia de Los Angeles midmorning tomorrow and will
keep our eyes open when heading south. Sorry we don't have any good news but we are still hopeful that that guy will show up!! Ron and Patty

Is anyone going to consider, that after all this time, and given the wilderness nature of the area, that the pooch has either become the property of
some other family, or has fallen prey to the wild. I hope that is not the case. Really. Hope springs eternal. But, given the situation, .... sorry.

Bajahowodd, You Ask a Logical Question
But. why give up hope when searching for a lost and loved family member, no matter how long the odds are?
Every time Pickle gets mentioned, maybe someone out here in our vast and wide reaching internet community will make a connection to a certain Great
Dane who would like to go home to her family.
We have personally failed in dog rescues more times that I want to think about; call us stupid, we keep trying.

Here's another nomad hoping your doggie finds his way home. I know we've had a couple of close calls, and can't even imagine leaving one of our mutts
behind

Bajawodd,
Have you ever lost a loved one? Pickle IS a member of our family. He is an innocent, unique character with so much personality and love. I feel I have
lost a child and I don't think those parents ever give up until there is reason to. He has not been found, therefore he has not been found dead. Do
you think I haven't thought this might be a possibility? I just can't allow myself to go there. Personally, I feel your coment was unnecessary. I have
been blessed by so many wonderful strangers, offering their help in the search. And I just couldn't do it with out them. Thank you!
Almost daily I am contacted by people sharing similar stories where they have found their loved one months later! Living at ranches with their tags
still attached!
Call me crazy, stupid, whatever, but I will not give up hope. Because without hope, we have nothing. I have a hole in my heart that only Pickle can
fill.
Sincerly,
Pickle's Mom

There has been a possible siting of Pickle at the military check south of Cataviña, north of Villa Jesus Maria!
This is the first close call!
If anyone is in the area would you PLEASE have a look around? Maybe ask at the check point?
I have upped the reward to $500, if this helps.
Thank you for your support!

Good News, Amy! Please keep us posted. There are so many of us out here that are rooting for Pickle to be found and reunited with his family!
Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!

Do not you think if you love this dog so much you should drive to Catavina and look for him?
You seem to want others to do the work.

I have lost a number of pets in my lifetime. They range from a hamster to a canary to cats and dogs. I am not too proud to admit that I have often
cried upon their demise. We humans just live longer than do our domesticated pets. I am not very heartened by a supposed sighting down near Jesus
Maria. That is a very long distance from where you lost Pickle.
That said, my advice to you is to visit your local animal shelter and acquaint yourself with the beautiful beasts that are one step away from their
demise. Maybe take home a couple of those sweet, affectionate creatures. If and when Pickle shows up back home, he'll be more than happy to find he's
got a family.
