Thank you! Barb Wareing - Found this Morning!

Thank you so much in advance for any help. Baja Nomad was recommended by a user here for anyone who can help us find a missing woman in La Paz.

"Barb Wareing 60/61 - she may weigh 100 lbs (if that). White, short hair. She was with her cousin Louisa and husband Rod. They are heading back to Cabo today to their 'home base' in Mexico. Her sister and bro-in-law were in Cabo and are still there. She had packed her bags to head back to Cabo from La Paz with her cousin. Her luggage was in the car with most of her id/money, etc. Louise believes she had an id (i.e. drivers license), 3000 pesos and an ATM card only. The bank won't tell us if there has been activity on the card but we have a few good contacts in Canada that we are trying to reach and get help. She had no cell phone and we just found out that her leave of absence at work was declined and she went on the planned trip anyway. We are becoming more worried. I really don't want to overshare our personal information on Facebook but in the event it will help us find her or help someone come up with an idea that we haven't thought of ourselves, I am putting it out there."

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

It's hard to follow the location and storyline here: Perhaps stating the last location where she was seen? From your message it seems you state that she was in La Paz and was separated on Saturday? Here's a wild guess from experience with visiting friends, many of whom are dealing with denials of time off and going anyway. .

La Paz is hosting Carnaval and it doesn't seem too unlikely to become separated on a Saturday with plans to reconnect in Cabo on Monday? Many US cell phones do not work and calling is not as easy as it seems it should be.

I will keep a look out, I sincerely hope she arrives today likely after catching a bus from La Paz sometime mid-morning which would put her arrival today after noon, unless of course she decides to stick it out 'til after fat Tuesday and comes back to Cabo on Wednesday.

Please post here when you have contact.

That's great! Perhaps you would consider telling us "the rest of the story". We are, after all enquiring minds. If it's too personal or sorrid I understand....
