Flying Sams Clinic - need 500 pairs of eyeglasses
We could use some help rounding up 500 pairs of used eyeglasses by October for the clinic. If you have some and/or would like to do a drive in your

Capt. Mike, I am not sure of the answer to that. It is being arranged with A Childs Garden here in San Felipe and Jim McKay of the Flying Sams. I know
he is on the international board but don't know specific chapter.
We have a clinic in April and another in Oct.

I would imagine store-bought reading glasses of various strengths would have value in this endeavor. Would I be correct?

Yes Dennis those would help too. This is my first time with the glasses thing and I don't know exactly what they do yet. I didnt ask but I will. They
just told me last night to find them 500 pairs and I said OK.
BTW - I was just asked for a wheelchair also. So if you have one that you don't need please let us know. Thanks you guys!

have you contacted the Lyons clubs? they used to be involved with charity eyeglasses distributions.
i believe they may be international like Rotary as well so cross border help may not be an issue?
