David

You have two of his books that I have loaned to you.

This guy has it---he knows the heart of Baja and shows it to you in all of its raw truth. I can tell that he loves his people because I also love them. Get his books and learn to laugh and understand the culture that allows the downtrodden people to laugh and endure.
Then buy my books because they are a lot like his but written from a gringo's perspective.

Can all of you week-enders and lurkers understand and appreciate this?

He has told me that he will at the next has the next Baja Authors signing at the Pyramid Restort next May---Put it on your calendar.

Yes Bernie, the two books are safe and sound... Jennifer (Sunbelt) mailed me the new one to check out. Will you be a Discover Baja on the 11th?

Are you going to Del Mar tomorrow (to see Arnold)? I may not see you there as the crowds probably will be huge!

Scoop!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok Ok I wasn't going to say anything yet but Bernie scooped me. The Pyramid Resort Book signing will be May 14,2005. I think. Hopefully it doesn't conflick with anything else. Right now that is what we are looking at. If you know any authors that would like to be invited please send me names, email addys and possibly phone numbers. Oboy I'm getting excited already. The last 2 events have been so super special. I can't wait for The 3rd Annual Pyramid Resort booksigning and Wine Tasting. See you there,k:spingrin::bounce::tumble:

His writing is captivating. I found myself trying to speed my way to the end of each story. A definite must have for anyone's library!

David, Chuck Potter of Baja Source and I will be having lunch together to share lies prior to the signing at Grossmont this Saturday.
Like an idiot I sold Chuck on what a great author Revelas was so he bought his books instead of mine. It is getting rather hard to believe that the in coming tide raises all boats.===Buy his books! You will enjoy his approach to life in Mexico.
I believe we have his comittment to do the signing at the Pyramid on May 14 of 2005. Where do the years go?????

Leaving soon... Dave Deal is busy working on the 'Manxter' for next week's Baja 1000... See you at Grossmont Center, 1pm. Anybody that asks gets "got baja?" bumper stickers... Probably will be car-pooling with Bernie, so don't look for my truck.
