Magellan Roadmate 800 GPS Maps

Does anyone here have a magellan gps. Can I get Baja maps for it? Where?I also need the cable to be able to connect to the computer. Does anyone know where I can get that? Besides the internet can I go to a store and buy this stuff. Who sells Magellans? My brother-in-law gave us his as he changed to a new garmin The magellan worked great in the states but when we got to the border it came to a dead end. Should I spend the money to upgrade this or go for a Garmin after I play with this for awhile,k:?:
