Google Maps Street View in Baa

Did a quick search and did not see that this has been mentioned much besides seeing the Google Street View car driving around....But Google Maps Street View now appears to be available for most of the paved roads in Baja, and also much of mainland Mexico. Pretty cool to be able to "drive" the Baja Highways from the comfort of a computer screen.

The resolution looks to be as good, or better than some of the USA Street View images.

Any one know where was this taken?
And did the car get waved through?

This is a southbound photo. The new checkpoint has moved 1/4 mile to the north to make way for the new Hwy. 3 and Hwy. 5 interchange.

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

They have street views of Tijuana. Saw the front of my house and the neighbors gardener. Frightening. :o
