HEY, HEY, HEY....
....and this is in the General BAJA discussion forum, why? Is this something you take with you as a camping item - and thus
recommendation - for Baja, OR ???
Thank you for your consideration, understanding and cooperation!!!
Oh... btw... new 2-buck chuck is on the shelves, from Australia... both Cab & Shiraz. I'm just sayin'....

I'll pick up some next time I get to a Trader Joes. Thanks for the recommendation, Mexicorn.
To make this Kosher, I should say that I will take some to Mulege when I return there in the winter. Just sayin'!

The Shiraz from Australia for 2 bucks is a good seller and not bad.
I always make a point of asking the people that work there at TJ's whenever I cross into the US every few weeks as to which wine they recomend. They
always know which ones are the best since T.J's invites the people who work there to wine tasting. Also they have a red thai sauce that really
complements the Corbina and Yellow tail I pick up at the Marketa Negra in Ensenada.

i picked some up before i read this - and it is good.
i didn't so much like the new italian bargain stuff they are selling at $1.99 here in feenix tho.
the 2 buck shiraz is passable to me if chilled to 55 or so. they buy it on the spot market then house lable it - so it is never consistent as a
vintage product can be until it sells out.
but i like TJs for the odd good deal and chances to bulk up on decent vins without bank bustin.
also - the TJ house brand chard at $3.99 i really liked for the $$. mine had peach in it - very rare i think.

Who much wine can you actually import into Mexico without causing a problem with customs?
I like to grab bottles of two buck chuck before heading south.

Merlot? Is that what you call wine just before it turns into vinegar?

Fresh and Easy carries a couple of two buck Australian wines, as well. A chardonnay and a cabernet. Both quite drinkable. And, as a bonus, the bottles
have screw caps, allowing for faster consumption.

you can buy really good Chilean and Argentinian vin in mexico/baja cause they have easy trade rules with them.
Mexicorn - again - "human Beans" - not refering to any ONE class - it's all of us.
TJBill do you think i just called you a mexican in a derogatory way??

Tonight's vino choice..I like this zinfandel from LA Cetto. Buy them at Saul's Market, Mulege for 95 pesos. Not bad at all.
