What about the wine?
Your picture made me thirsty for a nice glass of Baja wine. I love the local wines. It is all we buy....well besides cerveza. And as I mentioned
before the Sonora beef. A nice Cab from Domecq or Cetto, thick Sonora steak, baked pot...as in potato;what more could you want.....oh right...that

Hot dogs.
When I was a kid growing up we did not have a lot of money.Tuesday night was hot dog night. I developed a dislike of hot dogs (and baloney and
spaghetti'os and tuna casserole and liver an onions and spam).
In recent years I have developed a new appreciation for the hot dog, but ONLY in Baja.
This last week we were in La Paz for the race and we sampled three different vendors at the finish line and they all had there little twist. Then we
were at the Serinidad Saturday night for the pig roast and we were so busy drinking fine tequila and visiting with racing folks that they ran out of
pig before we could eat. We drove into town and had some fish,shrimp and carne tacos at Dony's then I spied a hot dog vendor right at the bus stop on
Hwy. 1 and thought I should try one for future reference and ended up eating three of them and they were tasty. The only hot dogs I will eat anywhere
but Baja are the ones my wife makes at home, Baja style!!
We have a trip planned to Tecate as we were told that they serve dogs there 25 different ways.

1/4 lb Vienna all beef dogs from Chicago. If you want it Baja style I'll throw some mayo on it.

Yep,
Hot dogs are to be had almost everywhere in Baja. And they are good!!
When you are being served weenies and eggs after loading shrimp all day, you know there must be something to them
Dave, I gotta try yours. They are delicious by las Ma?anitas.

Stuff I like better in Baja
1. Huitlacoche
2. Chicharron by the Chunk, crispy as a snack or soft in soups and Tacos.
3. Soups or Caldos in general
4. Sunrise and Sunset over the sea in the same day
5. Sitting in the Zocalo or Plaza in Tecate or San Ignacio on a Sunday afternoon.
6. Seafood c-cktails
7. Less Crowded Beaches

turkey dogs
I love the hotdogs too. Unfortunately the health craze has hit and most of the carts here in Los Cabos serve calientos de pavo. But once you put
the bacon, salsa, mayo, mustaza, and onions on them who would know.
Just out of curiosity, you guys(and gals) ask your hotdog vender what he uses. I am curious if it is a regional thing.
