but...
remember we're going to get an amphib ultra light and base it at playa Frambes.
for runs up to the rio in mulege.
will be a side by side 2 seater. i have 2 models i especially like.
and they can be flown to baja. no need to truck.

I really like the photo with the lighthouse in there. Would be great scenery from this rig, and great for taking photos. You could get one and offer
yet another ride for your guests!

Mike is right about a two seater with floats. I had one of the largest ultralight dealerships in the US for awhile and we had an absolute ball flying
this thing and landing on the water. You could do tours and stuff and have a ball.
The flying parachute is so totally boring that after 1/2 hour you want to cut your engine and see what it lands like

in US you don't need license for ultralights, they can carry only one person, and you can't use ultralights for business purposes (for sport and
recreation only).
is that case in mexico too? how do you license a 2-seater in US?

Were talking Mexico here right? Go to La Fonda on any weekend and you can fly an ultralight as a passenger, just pay your pesos.

i know the rules, ultralight ops ARE regulated and there are specifics for dual seat private and commercial ops. And, have studied and enquired about
the legalities for Mexico - besides - i never mentioned COMMERCIAL ops for Mexico - you did.
a friend here from Cave Creek AZ, locally famous as a celebrity in the bar and restaurant/entertainment biz, ran a VERY successful UL ops in Penasco
for years and gobbled up a TON of $$ during spring break annually - all was legal and authorized by the DGAC out of the MMHO office.
go to Cabo - you can ride in a 2 seater Eipper based on the beach at Los Cabos all day long for $80 a throw - all legal.
my Amiga in Lopez Mateo, an EX PAT is a charter member of the Mexican equivalent of the AOPA but for ultra lights, flies her own and attends rallys in
La Paz where her chapter is based.

ok - truce. hahaha.
yes they crash....if the pilot screws up, or the weather capabilities are exceeded, or the contraption is over stressed...and a lot of other reasons
could play - but PROPERLY operated within the design limits it is hard to hurt yourself assuming you have been properly trained.
same thing applies to standard category AC like my Piper and the new category called Light Sport which to me is either an ultra lite on viagra or a
regular plane that needs viagra....or substitute steroids for viagra - same principle on comparison.
when we start ops at Frambes and if you come you can go for a ride.
