Good morning all Thank you for the Dennis siteing. I was quite concered since he had not been heard from in a long period of time. Dennis is a friend of mine and I was getting ready to head down to Punta Banda to find out if anything bad had happened to him.
Thanks for your support

I actualy know Dennis. I have known him for fifteen years. And that boy can sure stur things up sometimes with the locals. Not everybody finds him to be such a joy as we do. If nobody hears from him in a few days, I'll go out and investigate.

Dennis has a life and a very interesting one at that. In just one week a few years ago he was nearly martyrd on the Punta Banda Road. Not too many people survive an assination attempt down here in old Mexico and live to tell about it. A sniper shot out the windows of his car with Dennis driving it just narrowly missing hitting him in his Cabeza. Cruising to the Police Station, with his windows shot out, the cops acted surprised and disappointed to see him alive. They wouldn't even let him file a report. "Maybe its time to weigh anchor and set sail for the old country," I suggested at the time. He wouldn't have any of it. Then that almost happened by force as immigration came and got him and took to the Imigration detention facility in Tijuana (a thinly disquised dungeon)and filed 1000 pages of documents supporting his expulsion. But then, for some still unexplained reason, the judge believed Dennis's version of the events and set him free and invited him to apply for an FM3. It had to have been friends in high places, but in those days I was the only friend he had. Dennis has a life that most of us can only dream about. And this was all in just one week. Viva Mexico.

Sorry- I find this to be very hard to believe.
If he did have this happen to him I dont think I would like this to be public information. Furthermore, I think I would have heard of this since it would have been big news. I wonder how anyone who would post this information could consider themself a friend?
Dennis I hope you are well could you please U2U me or contact me via baja talk.
Thank you.
