A well deserved victory.

Besides France had no business being there with that "Hands Goal" by cheat Henry.

Mexico plays Uruguay next. Since both teams speak the same language, it wouldn’t be surprising if they negotiate a tie during the game so both qualify to go on to the next round.

That's at 7:00 AM, PDT tomorrow against Slovenia according to the San Diego UT.

In the meantime, it's Lakers vs Celtics tonight. GO LAKERS.

One of Our Friends Who Happens to be French

Got in contact with us today; she was very upset and crying. I think she said something to the effect that she is not going to forgive us forever because we live in Mexico.

We stopped for lunch at a restaurant in Rosarito and this was maybe twenty minutes before the match ended; the parking lot was full of semis, Coca Cola and Bimbo delivery trucks and one odd van with a sign "Colegio de Bacilladores". Most of the guys in there were wearing soccer jerseys or carrying flags/bandannas.

When Mexico won, there was a huge uproar and most all of them ran for the exit; lunch break was over, I guess.

Our lunch meal was served after the action and we were entertained during the meal by the passing of racing cars, honking horns and the wailing sirens of the local police in pursuit of the celebrators. Most of the racing cars were sporting political banners promoting the various candidates for next Presidente of Rosarito, as well.
