Tacos and Beer

Sounds like a possibility; I live north of LB and should have time on Monday, but have to take one of my gatos to the vet at Playa Norte at 11am and would then have to get her back home and then drive back in.........I know, boring.

strange that Ihaven't been on here for months, and the first thing I see when I logged on, was this thread!!

que hora?

Let's all get together again in October when Jill and I will be back. I often wonder how many Nomads I run into and never know who they are.....that's one of the reasons I'm not shy about posting my or my esposa bonita's picture on Nomads, hoping some day someone will say "hey, aren't you that obnoxious dtbushpilot guy?"......

I was having lunch one day at Mariscos La Costa in La Ribera and saw a guy who's picture I had seen just one day earlier on Nomads. I said "aren't you Osprey?".......

We really should try to reach out a little more. I'll bet I know at least a few people in Baja that are Nomads and we don't know that we are......dt

That's only 20 miles from my house. I have nothing to wear. I can't lose 20 pounds in one night. Maybe I don't want Nomads to see me. What time will you all meet. I can just sneak in and watch all of you and then, if and when I'm comfortable with the situation, if you all turn out to be fatter and older and uglier than me (no chance) I could quietly say my name, see what happens. This is exciting and frightening at the same time.

Oldjack, just kidding. I'm a kidder. How about noon, for lunch? Lots of eateries down here are closed on Mondays. If you'll check that, it would help.

Jack, I won't let you eat alone. I'll be there. I'll be driving my old pickup instead of the car. I need the room for some boxes of CDs of fish pictures I want to show you.

Being that Los Barriles to my little berg is like Mt. Pilot to Mayberry, I don't want to get lost. Are you saying you want to meet at the Blue Tarp taco stand in front of the Kindergarten?

for those the might get lost in Los Barriles?????? just
follow the street into town go to the bottom of hill in front of Palmas de Cortes.(and our only stop sign)... turn left and go about three blocks ... on the left three doors past the pinkish grocery store(Fayala's) is a palapa taco stand called Viejo's ... that's the place look for my green BajaCat side by side out front somewhere.... park where you can and come on in.... will have one of DavidK's "GOT BAJA" caps on... maybe my grey self styled Baja Nomad shirt if I can find it
