Russ, you are killing me here man. I am in Colorado and it is 48 degrees here this morning and I wish I were back in Baja with the dry heat instead of freezing my behind off. I did not know how much fun it could be to get a house ready for sale, especially in this lousy weather. Maybe I can bottle a little of this up and slowly release it when I get back.

OK, OK.... I just am partial to having a cloud or something in the back ground.
But with this "perfect" weather I'll be waiting awhile. Gotta work in the boat trailer today or I'd be launching this morning in hopes of telling stories of some monster fish.:(

thanks :lol and love to see folks dogs being loose too.. just getting to be themselves.. it really changes their personality being free to meet people and explore on their own.. really allows them to be themselves...

Mason, looks to be one happy camper to me.. just out checking things out with Dad in the morning ... a really great dog.. the Lab.. but, then I'm a softy for just about all of them..

Some days when I taking my walks.. not far and long.. I end up with around 7 dogs.. they all come out from their own places, and walk with me.. they are all good guys.. give them a "butt" scratch and we are friends for life..

Have all started coming back to the house.. as I will give them treats.. they all seem to go crazy over bacon flavored dog treats.. and it gives me a great deal of joy to be able to make a bunch of dogs that happy with just a couple of "treats" .... and of course the local dogs have found the big gringo suckers too.. they are the first to show up and have become the loyalist ... but, with good manners with my last dog "Bear".. they give him his space, as it is his house..

Good guys to have with you on a beach fishing... thanks again.. and does he go out with you in the boat?

wessongroup, I get upset when people, well meaning, give Mason treats. Yes, he'll be their bud for life but a begging dog really disgust me. And Mason will do anything for a treat. Just ask the lady that made 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies and Mason went in her house and took them all! Now they have to close up there house, if they remember, when he's anywhere near. And that's true with a lot for neighbors. Feed him once and he'll make himself at home. Taking him fishing is a total disaster, duh, he's a water dog and has to swim right in front of me while I'm trying to fish. If I tell him NO he'll just stare at me and bark. Not the brightest cintavo! Yeah, me. The dogs much smarter.
Here he is hunting stingrays.

Good shot, and when folks tell me they don't like their dogs given treats I stop.. and in most cases these poor fools have never had anything like that..

When I was having my car worked on there was a rottweller, these people were using for a guard dog I guess, but the poor guy was just looking terrible .. could see that he was one sad and lonely dog.. so I asked him if anyone ever talked to him? he came over to the steel bars of the cage and put his head down so I could scratch his head and give him a good rub plus my famous "but scratch"

He was not begging.. he was just wanting to talk to someone.. and that is what I did to him for as long as I could stand next to his cage.. then would go sit down and rest a bit, and then go back to talk and give some rubs and scratches.. the following day I took a treat.. when he first took it.. he spit it out.. then his mouth starting salavting and he got it right off the ground.. only had 3-4 but they made his day..

I still try and stop buy and say hi and give him something, just to say hi

There were two dogs I became friends with that day Oliver the Rottweller

And Bob a pit bull

Bob chewing on my arm.. a good guy.. just all mouth
