Lost another cat, hes back!
About a week ago i lost another cat, "Merlot". I am happy to report i got a call today from a lady that lives on the outskirts of La Paz, she had my
cat. How he got there is a mistery, but i am very happy to have him back. Theres good people, and bad people everywhere. Gave her 50 bucks, she
refused, had to leave it at her table because she did not want to take the money.
Its a good day for me in La Paz.

Jesse, that's AMAZING!! I'm so happy for you & Merlot & the rest of his human & furry family that he's safely back home & that a good
person found him & called you to get hm back where he belongs! Those big tags you now have on all your cats were worth the investment!
Hmmmmm, I wonder if they implant GPS tracking devices in kitties?

Happy News About Merlot
Jesse, I am so glad the cat came back. Every so often, I think about your other vanished ones.
Every spring, we have two or three new young cats that come and stay in our garage for a while, eating the food we leave out, but they are pretty much
not interested in being domesticated and they move on after a few weeks.

Great news Jesse. We know all too well how attached you can get to your cats and how empty a house can seem in their absence. I love happy endings...

Law & Order La Paz
Outskirts of town? Kinda makes me wonder if your other two weren't "catnapped" and let loose on the outskirts of town, too.
Glad you at least got Merlot back.

Cat Superstition
Some people hate and fear cats. There was and still are strong beliefs that cats are agents of the devil and carry disease. (See history; medieval
times, black plague, fear of the devil, yada yada).
You can convert your cats to an indoor lifestyle; they adapt very well.
We convinced our ten-year-old ocicat, who was used to roaming and fighting, to accept an indoor-only lifestyle and he lived for eight more happy,
healthy years.

Or maybe you cats were doing their business on your neighbor's property, or messing up their garden. I just can't see someone grabbing the cats and
dumping them outside of town just for grins.
