I'm near Big Bear Lake and this was woozie!
The house felt like it got picked up and then moved in a circle.
The Easter quake in Mexicali felt much smaller than this one. I thought that this was a 7.3

Same here... nothing in San Diego N. County... but I was driving at the time. Maybe that's the difference.

In San Diego I heard that it made an elevator shut down, the building went to 13 floors and they had to walk it! My mom is in Oceanside and she felt
nothing, she was at work.

The LONG Roll
Apparently, the effects were different in different areas.
What I felt was a fairly long gentle roller. AND, the Los Angeles news reported the initial jolt as a long rolling quake of approx 38 seconds
duration, mirroring my assessment.
But, it was short and intense in nearer Palm Desert, apparently.
The worrisome thing with that Rolling is the apprehension that it's a leadup to the BIG HIT as the 7.4 YV quake was. Big relief when it stopped.
