Mike,

When I was there last (May) the lighthouse was still an island. It has been so since Hurricane Jimena, one year ago. You have been there more recently. Did you notice whether the land spit has filled in?

Most people launch at Donation Pier, across the channel from the lighthouse.

no, it is filled in again.
boats that require more draft have to launch on the north side.
his I/O i don't think can get out at the south ramp.

No i have not launced at the light house, I've been launcing at the beach here in Coyote.
I realy don't have much a tow vehicle..
