Not fun. I got the Revenge so bad last March on the mainland I had to go to the local clinic for 2 IVs & meds. After 3 days I was getting worst.
By the afternoon of the clinic visit, I was feeling better. Was well in time for a Mexican Wedding we had been invited to & had a great time.
My emergency visit to the clinic, one of our local friends got me in the back door before ithe clinic opened, cost 190 pesos which included 2 IVs, 6
meds & 2 shots. My better 3/4s was starting to feel poorly and ask if she could get it from taking care of me. The Doc said yes and gave her a
shot & half of the meds. We Donated an additional 110 pesos to the clinic for supplies as the clinic is not allow to charge extra because you are
not a local. Several other people came in with the same problem while I was receiving the IVs but were not in as bad shape, they were younger. The
Revenge can be sirius for the more mature individual.

Treda is great. Even use it when the stateside activities get to me, but drink water and rehydragents with it. Do not use cervasa in place of water.
If its not where it is, its where it isn\'t.

I think I may have had it two years ago. That was an awesome weight loss plan even though it was not intended.

PART 2--
Well it all started out at the carnitas place, or the shrimp taco fried in butter place, or it may have come from the "Bomb" burrito I bought early in
the morning for breakfast. I`ve read that the incubation period may be up to 3 days, so I can`t be sure of which meal it was from. I`d have to accuse
the shrimp taco as being the #1 suspect. This was from a popular place, a bit bigger than a stand but really a rustic Baja style place. They fry the
shrimp in butter and serve them on a homemade tortilla. You then chose the condiments you want from the bowls sitting on the counter. I piled on
cabbage, onions, salsa, crema, and then some lime juice. The dangers of non-refrigerated food on a counter were ignored and I chased down my taco with
a Mexican coke! Ahhhhhhhh...............................
So anyway, hours later I`m on my way home and feel that feeling that says "Oh oh". Hoping it is a one feeling event, I drive on putting it out of my
mind. Then maybe 15 minutes, there is that feeling again. I now figured trouble may be on its way.
Luckily I made it home before it really started tearing me up. Won`t get into the details here but let`s just say it was a horrible 2 step for the
next several hours.
From what I`ve read, you build up an immunity for a year or so after an episode. So bring on the shrimp tacos!! For a year anyway!!
BTW, this is no laughing matter for many. Take this seriously and hope if you get it, it be routine.

Several yrs ago I landed in Barcelona to begin a four week journey through Europe. Two days later, still in Barcelona, I ate a bad chicken sandwich. I
continued on with the trip, but it consisted of nothing more than running from one public toilet to another. Four weeks later I flew back to the U.S.,
32 lbs lighter and on the plane wearing the only pair of pants that fit, my wife's blue jeans. It took me about a year to fully return to normal.

NATURAL DIARRHEA REMEDY...
Keep NUTMEG in the house or with you when you travel!!!
Put 1 TABLESPOON (rounded over) full into about 6-8 oz. of milk. Stir it well and drink it down. Not the best tasting thing in the world, BUT it sure
does work good!!!
If it doesn't work in a couple of hours, you can repeat.
This is an old time cure which was given to my Mother by a neighbor.

A couple of years ago I had a case of the trots so bad we had to stop at every Pemex from BOLA to home (with a few remote stops in between). I think I
got it from a cantaloupe purchased at Xitlali store in BOLA. I don’t eat any produce in Mexico anymore unless I bring it from the states.
