I'm sure you've notified all the authorities but maybe talk to the Port Captains, Hotels, Coop fishing fleet & have the guides get on the radio with a handsome reward for it's return. I wish you a lot of success! It's happened here and sometimes we find the hull and no motors. It's happened only during the no moon phase though.

It would certainly be hard to hide that boat!

Mexico is pretty much turning into a chite hole. Bombs going off in the mainland, people getting ripped off left and right, bodies hanging from bridges etc.. Its a pretty country, but the circumstances nowadays are pretty horrible. I feel sorry for your loss of the boat.

I am sorry to hear of the theft of your beautiful boat and the others boats.

My husband and I have spent many happy hours with our friends watching the sun rise over those waters and fishers, waiting for the boats to turn facing north and signal a change in the wind.

I recognize some of the boats and hope they come home again.

The boat is at the bottom and those two outboard are screaming north up the SOC with a load as I type.

FAT CAT

The motors were both new. !00 hrs. on each
Bill is my best friend here in LB. I've fished on FAT CAT dozens of times. Bill & Silvia are NOT rich gringo's It was tough for them to come up with the $'s for the new motors. They have had their equiptment stolen from the boat before also. This is really sad. They moved here at the same time
I did 8 yrs ago.
it is hard to believe that no one in town knows a thing. the boats were all in front of the hotel Palmas De Cortez.
Cha cha & sons have some clout.if they find out who did it the thieves are in for a very bad time.

There's at least one person on the site that will tell you not to complain; it is just a local guy trying to make a buck...a cultural thing, if you will.

The thought of losing a boat like that makes me sick. I've spent some time on cats, they are the best IMHO. I sure hope somehow it comes home.

Now that I think of it, this might be the Flyguy's fault. The thieves could be the ex-cops from CC who either quit or got fired over the extortion game they were pulling.

Boat theft seems to be flourishing. There are even specialized marine investigators:
