I'll take it to, among other places, The Baja Times and get it printed.

Don't let this stop you, Cynthia, from doing one yourself.

Sure wish we had more info on the car.

Could I use your phone number on the flyer? I can add mine...it's a Mexican line.

Does your dad speak Spanish? If not, that would probably narrow the list of places he would hang at.

So....I'm assuming he's expecting a transfusion to his bank account today and it won't be there. True?

Unless your answers are personal, put them up here so everyone can keep up. If personal info....U2U is fine.

Dennis......what Lizard Lips and I did was to have the family print up color flyers with a photo of each person and a look alike vehicle.....English on one side and Spanish on the other........the key will be the vehicle.....find the vehicle and narrow down the search area.

Post in every PEMEX, bank/ATM, give to police, and hand out at military checkpoints.

I'm sure Cynthia appreciates all everyone can do. I also told her to do several other things that would help but because of her current financial problems with two kids to support she cannot come here to do things herself.

I am leaving for work tomorrow in Kyrgyzstan of all places and will be back next Tuesday so I am going to meet with my contacts in Rosirito and get the ball rolling. Maybe by then Peter will have surfaced.

Once the Missing Person's flyer has been posted, as I had asked her, please download a few of these and place them in store windows if you would. Who knows he may even be in Baja Sur so don't think this is just for us Northerners.

Please do what you can to help.

Thanks

Thanks Ken!

I'd like to explain my dad's truck a little bit until I get a plate #. It is a 1999 (I believe) Ford Ranger, regular cab, w/ a stepside. The color is burnt orange.

I am waiting for a detective to contact me reg. the missing person's report.

Dennis, what I was thinking about doing is keeping a little bit ($20) of money is his acct at any given time. The purpose of this is to know if he (or his card) is moving to some other part of Mexico... I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not?

Lizardlips suggested I not use a phone # on the flyer, and use an email instead. jeffries.cynthia.r@gmail.com

Dad can't hold down a conversation in Spanish, but I'm pretty sure he knows "cervesa"

OK....Dan's suggestion is of course right. I'll give my phone number and your email.

What about the truck? Any info?

I'll be taking copy to Office Depot here mañana and the quest is on.

Anyone in the Rosarito area want to join the party? Sure would like to have some assistance on this.

If not....fine. I'll just do it. I've been on worse missions alone.

I think it's an excellent idea. Maybe a bit more than your minimal amount.
It will keep the trail alive and, if it's him....he may need money. He has to live, but...not too well.

Dennis,

I suspect there's a reason Lizard Lips recommended no phone # at all (if what Cynthia wrote is accurate) - and would respect that.

Thanks, Doug. Being new at this, I surmised some denizens of the saloons may not have access to a computer, but I am old fashioned.

What I told her was not to put her phone number on the flyer because of scammer calls. I get calls here at my home from people who tell me that they are related to me and that their car broke down etc. and send some cash to this bank account number. My wife received a call saying that my son was kidnapped. It really upset her and she called the school and he was fine. The caller did not mention his name just that "our son" was taken. This is a whole new scam in Mexico and I could just see it happening to Cynthia in some way and she does not need that now. I did tell her to post the name of Detective Marquez who is handling this matter for her in the US.

If Dennis gives his number for people to call that would be great. He's street smart and knows what to do and weed out all of the BS.

We need to get the word out there. THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT! Putting up these flyers along with Mat and Melissa's at the same time in the same place needs to be done.

On my way back from the airport on Tuesday I told both Joanna and Cynthia that I would stop at the Tijuana morgue and check for any unidentified person's. This needs to be done now so if anyone can go there and do this tomorrow would be great. Just take a copy of Matt and Melissa's flyer and a photograph of Peter and give it to them. We can close that door and move on to the next issue. Put up flyers and a photo of Peter in the Ministerio Publico office's not only in TJ but Rosirito, Ensenada and all offices south.

Let's not concentrate just on Northern Baja--- They could be anywhere so close those doors.

I told Joanna that she needs to get a family member or someone to get down here and do the flyer thing all the way to the tip.

All of you are great people that I have always respected and admired for your knowledge of Baja. Let's all pull together and get this done for THEM.

Thanks, Cynthia.....One more thing; does the pickup have a camper or a camper shell on it? Given his shortage of money, he may be living in it.
