First let me state whole heartedly that the whole egl clan is thrilled that the intrepid travelers have been located and are safe.
Internet speculation scenario one:
Bought insurance for trip to CC.
Heard about mordida reports in CC changed plans to hitch?
Internet speculation scenario two:
Bought FULL coverage for trip
Decide to hitch down and then file claim of stolen vehicle so they can use money to replace window
Internet speculation scenario three:
Bought full coverage drove down made it as far as El Tomatal abducted by aliens car beamed back to states occupants transported to CC as punishment
for not staying in touch with families.
I hope they do get back to the states safely with big news that they got married! Be hard to be mad at them after that.

All that really matters is that they are alive and well! They have spoken to the people they drove to hysteria! All I can say is Bravo Nomads!!! If my
wife or son, or anybody I care about, comes up missing in Mexico, my first action will be logging in here!
