Air Conditioning at Alfonsinas

Maybe this has already been discussed, but I just got back from Gonzaga and Alfonsinas now has air conditioners in each room. They turn on the power supply around 9PM and turn it off at about 7AM. They are very quiet and very cold! Only issue I have is that they need to keep the generator running all night long. Takes away from the quiet and serene feel of the place at night.

Not to rain on everyone's parade, but the idea of air conditioners at Alfonsina's appeals to me almost as much as the big highway headed for their door. Night time noise of generators in heaven - the idea makes me shudder.

The generator will mask the sound of the Jake brakes going down the new road. The quiet nights at Gonzaga will be gone and you'll hear the trucks all night long.
