Hey all! Just wanted to let you know that my dad (finally) contacted me last night. He'll be staying in Rosarito for one more month.

And of course, he didn't quite understand why I was so worried.

Thank you all so very much for your help!!!!!

I love it!

A man after my own heart.
Exactly the same thing I said to my mom and dad last xmas. Sheesh, don't worry!

But I swear I WARNED them I was MILES of bad road away from even POSSIBLE phone or internet, IF my vehicle was running...so I wouldn't call Xmas.

And NEVER to call the cops. Although a good 50% are OK, the other half will make matters worse on a regular basis, the same as in the US.

Glad he is safe and sound!

It is an interesting transition when the children become old enough to worry when they do not hear from a parent instead of the parent worrying about the teenager who is late or is not where they are supposed to be.

That's great ha ha! Because when I told my dad I contacted San Diego police and the US Consulate in Tijuana, he joked "Oh great, you just got us all arrested!!":D

We live in our own little worlds down here...I think that's in someone's signature.
Sorry to plagiarize.

I am in Rhode Island right now, and love to hear the antics. If my mom or sister ever post here, I'm probably at Frailes. A happy ending is always wonderful, which brings up the massage therapists next door to the house near Santiago...

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

I guess it's not a big deal for him. He's a very selfish person.
