simple baja pleasures
I wanted to share this very simple pleasure with all of you because although it was very simple....it had a profound effect on us.
It was a lovely "just before sunset" afternoon and we decided to invite our amiga and dogs to take a sunset cruise along the beach road. Our
amiga...in true baja style brought along newmix roadies to make the voyage even more pleasant. We chatted, bonded, tripped over the 5 dogs, laughed
and stopped to admire the simple beauty of the sunset over the pacific.

We were all moved by just how blessed we are to be in this amazingly beautiful, peacefull place together at this time in our lives...breathing fresh
clean air...living simply. We were supremely happy...one of those golden baja moments.

the green flash is not visible very often here as we seem to have that haze on the horizon alot...but next time, I'm gonna try the foil fedora and see
if that works...I'm always up for new fashion especially if it produces groovy colours.

beautiful | Green... with envy? Oh, it was beautiful, and Shari is so right-on: its the simple pleasures of
life that are so important. Let the rest fall away, in the end what matters are the basics, friends & nature.
For me, its all about heart. Standing on the cliff, the cool Baja summer wind blowing from the south-west I watched the sun mark time over the ocean's
waves... and I settled deeply in, down into a quiet, peaceful place.

I've only seen the "green flash" twice. I can't remember the first one and I'm convinced the second was a flashback.

There is not a trip to our Baja home that goes by without my wife Chris saying "Gawd I love it here!" while watching the sunrise or sunsets. Me too...
Haven't had a bad trip yet....

I hear you Shari - we share those kind of moments here all the time. Some days it's just sitting on the front porch watching the dogs out patrolling
the beach one last time before day's end...
