Something new from Lewis & Lewis Auto

I renewed my annual auto policy today and Qualitas has added a new benefit under Medical coverage:
"Air Ambulance: within Mexico and if Needed"
I'm not sure how useful this would be in Baja or how it would work but in talking with Lewis and Lewis this wording was not in last year's policy but now is. Pre-authorization is required by Qualitas and the attending physician.
Anyone notice this or have any experience with this coverage?

I have L&L annual, the statement "Air ambulance
within Mex and if Needed', seems like it is missing
something after' if needed', if needed what?
transfer to the US? Mex Ins has always left
me wondering, are they going to respond?
is someone in Mex City going to answer?
Will an adjuster get there? You read pros and cons
of the different Mex Ins co.s, hope I never
have to use it

Air evacuation is also covered in the Discover Baja written policy (HDI Seguros)... it also adds it will cover international air evacuation if the medical team and the attending doctor determins it cannot be treated in a Mexican hospital. Service is to a hospital in San Diego or Houston.

No experience with that coverage, though it is on the new policy I just got in the mail last week. As Sancho said, hope I never need it, or the insurance!!!
