nomad sighting in ventura


this morning ,around 8:30 spotted a jeep with a surfboard and a ladder in the roof racks with a nomad sticker in rear window. anybody know who it was and if they live there. I did not recognize vehicle or driver...maybe just passing thru??

Hey, that's great that you spotted a fellow Nomad up in Ventura. I haven't a clue who he/she might be, but felt the need to make a comment, just to make you feel a little better. I know what it feels like when nobody gives a hoot about something you posted. If you're lucky, Skeet will hijack it and generate a bunch of interest in whatever it is he writes about.

Well, it is a well known fact that Ojai is a haven for DOPERS and other types of DEGENERATES, not true ADVENTUERS. Like my grandmother who turns 100 on October 10. She's a painter and a sculptor and walked across the United States in the Great Peace March in 1986, so she's obviously a non-adventuerous hippie. Don't know about the drugs or porn though. I just witness fishabductor on a surfboard hitting the waves at Roy Rogers State beach. Must have been him driving thru Ventura...

Yep that was me, on my to surf C street, some times when the waves are big I need the ladder. I hope I didn't cut you off. Do you live around here? I'm in Ojai.
