Of equal importance is to check whether drugs purchased in Mexico are legitimate and of the proper dosage. I take medication for glaucoma and am vigilant in getting regular eye exams. I want to be sure that the medication purchased is actually as labeled.

For the life of me I can not understand nor want to understand why there is a need to say something ugly. Just because you put a cute little smiley face behind your words doesn't make it funny. Don't say anything...or is that by signing-on and saying something you get one more post that eventually earns you that all important "gold star".

I agree there is great information and good people on the Baja Nomad website. I actually enjoy reading the sparring matches between certain nomads...Dennis, Toneart just to name a few! David K is right, I did not "have a lead-in story"...which should not be required. Take a post for what it is...if you don't like it, move on. Big deal if the post is put under the wrong subject it is not the end of the world. Don't sweat the small things in life.

I will now go put my soap box back in the closest!

Hi Karenintx! Welcome back.

I think you have handled yourself well after the initial pout, to which you have acknowledged. Others here have also contributed some opinions that are supportive of you. It is easy and understandable, how you/we/people here can get offended. In my opinion, this was cleanly deescalated. And...you are back. That is good!

As far as I know, Dennis is a Nomad Bud. We don't have any nasty sparring matches. I am not sure if he was referencing me in his post above, but I took it good humoredly. Through the years Dennis and I have challenged one one another over differences of opinion, but he has never been ugly with me.

When people can discuss or challenge each other it does make good reading. I enjoy getting clarification and giving it too. We don't all have to agree.

Mostly, I try to write humor, although not always. Some subjects are very serious and deserve earnest, civil treatment. I usually write satire. Sometimes it is self-deprecating. Humor doesn't always translate well with the printed word. Sometimes it unintentionally offends. When that happens, the reader has either misinterpreted, or writer has not done his job very well...or sometimes both are occurring. :light:

This has been one funny thread. Thanks for the giggles...
and the heads-up information, too, about drug interactions.

Better check the pharmaceuticals before you buy the pharm, eh?
[now imagine one or more of those cute little faces here]
