... and today even Woooosh has been banned from all commenting on Baja Maggie's site. I won't call her crazy like others do, she is very smart
actually- but is seemingly very paranoid and insecure. She was helpful to me though, and people reading her Blog helped me a lot when I needed it.
Some people can't handle internet neutrality- you either defend and fight for them everywhere you post- or you are out. Cyberspace gets weirder by
the minute.
And that's the problem with Blogs. They aren't real conversations like a message board. The blog owner picks and chooses what comments they will
post and then edits them, depending on their topic of the day, their politics and their meds du jour. They make everything fit nicely into their
pre-determined political and social positions- which is why they started their blog in the first place. Totally self fulfilling.
Today she calls me out for using all my on-line resources to solve a problem- isn't that what the internet is for (after you check your mail and pay
your bills)? Nomads gave me valuable feedback that helped me fine-tune my FMZ Concession video- which made it very effective. Blogs give you one
opinion only- theirs. I got dozens of good opinions from Nomads and that's why these message boards are so powerful. Politically motivated Blogs...
not so much.

Hey Folks most confused
I recenly had a friend advise me that I am on his (who's) list as a lackey to Doug...Guess 'she' has not noticed that I seldom post here anymore
because of the attitudes displayed by some of the newer folks.
Hell! I don't know nothin'...only been in Baja for going on 50 years. Love the place and its people...and most of the Nomads too.
Oh! Yes! As a good lackey I really like Doug and his family.
My smidgen of a claim to fame is that I have had so many really good friends. By Bernie Swaim December 2007

Yes it looks like Maggie had a melt down on her blog, because Bob/Pierce told her to go read the "paranoid thread" on "BN" because someone said a few
negative things about her. It also looks like someone is sending her emails, however it's not me, and most likely the same idiot who has been sending
emails to "BN" members.
It seems she is really upset with Woooosh because he and others didn't lift a finger to defend her. But if I read this thread Woooosh did defend the
blog writers at least a little bit.
Oh well I hope she gets over it. The first thing I notice about her on her blog is she seems very nice and calm one minute, and the next she goes nuts
with one expletive after another like a drunken Sailor.

I dunno. I went over to her blog knowing what people said about her. She was fine with me until yesterday- or at least she hadn't turned on me yet.
It's not my job defend a bloggers point of view or reputation. Unlike a message board they exercise full control over the content of their blog and
readers comments they choose to post- so their PR problems are of their own making imho.

Whoosh sorry to see this happening to you. From reading her posts she did like you alot at one point. I hope she gets through this and reaches out to
you she was wrong for saying that you dont support her. At any rate I see Chuck/Fulano/Kimo/Vichey/ Levitin and his multiple personalities are at it
again spreading hate about anything Mexican or Nomads. He received about 20 hits on his crummy website today probably him just checking and rechecking
in his OCD madness. So hows everything with my fellow nomads tonight?

No big deal, really. I think she liked me too much actually and she started to think I wasn't real- just a "psychological profiler" playing head
games with her. I touched on some emotional things- like my father opening the gates to liberate a death camp as a GI in WWII. I can't respond to
her directly, because she blocked me. But if she has the e-mail to block me, she can e-mail me. We all have bad days, weeks and months. That's
cyberspace- once you hit the "send" button- you own it forever. I'm not genetically wired to hold a grudge and it's really her problem- not mine.

I do not know why some of you are so obsessed with what this Fulano guy says. If what he says is not true than offer facts to dispute the facts that
he is stating or do not even bring up his name. By commenting back negatively to what he says leaves an unbiased reader to suspect perhaps what he
says is true. Look what he did to that poor Canadian lawyer/realtor's reputation/livelyhood in La Paz. If I were you guys I'd let it lie and not even
acknowledge what he says. Your comments only perpetuates his blog about you.
As for me, I read all the message boards and blogs I can for information on the current events, laws, etc. in Mexico. I'm retiring in January and for
the past 25 years have dreamed about a retirement 2nd home via rental or ownership of a place in Mulege area. I would love to live in "Pomano's
Palace". The information on these websites are sources for me to determine if I want a retirement home in Mexico or elsewhere. I'm a big boy and can
sort thru the information on what I believe is true or not and then make a business decision on how I'm going to spend my $ in the final quarter of my
days on earth. I do not know what Fulano's beef is with you guys and frankly do not care but I find his facts as well as BN's helpful in my decision
making process.

you think I could give my dogs waffle ears if I used the extra set of heating plates that come with it? I think that would look cool.

Why, sure. I think that's how they get the checker-board pattern on the rump of race horses. They just heat up a GF Grill and press hard for a few
minutes.

Rump OF a race horse.
Jeeeeezo....now you're having trouble with the two-letter words.
The rump is what squeezes together and keeps the tail from falling on the ground.
