Dentist

I need a tooth pulled::!::( Any good dentists in Mexicali or San Felipe? Here in northern California they want $800.00 to pull a tooth!!!!!!!!! I think last time I had a tooth pulled it took them about 5 minutes and it was done.
Lets see 60 divided by 5 = 12 and 12 x 800= $9600.00 per hour. Must be nice.
Any suggestions?:

Unless it's a fully impacted wisdom tooth... that is robbery.

No not a wisdom tooth. It's a tooth that had been capped, and the tooth split under the cap.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled in Cabo a couple of years ago. I think it cost about $100 US, including the 3 shots of novacaine. I was seen the same day that I called her, and it was painless. Her name was Filadelfia (like Philidelphia)...a young, tiny dentist from Mexico City. If you're going to Cabo, I would highly recommend her. She's near the centro de salud in downtown Cabo.

Wow! You're getting sodomized!
Too bad you're not near Apple Valley, CA, I'd recomend an excellent dentist, Dr Don Christie. My first visit I had two teeth (upper wisdom and molar) pulled, $233 cash and was completely painless. Had them do a bunch of work, pulled a total 4 teeth (upper wisdom and molars both sides), full x-rays and exam, full deep scaling(hadn't been to a dentist in 35 yrs), polish and two fillings, total was a little under $1100.

It's a semi retired couple, only open 3.5 days a week and very nice folk.

You say "Northern CA"-------I just had a rear upper molar pulled in Redding, CA for $200 out the door. (Top of the line clinic)

If I was willing to go to Mexicali, I would go just a little further and go to Algodones. Excellent dentists and they will take walk ins. My personal dentist is Enrique Mendez at 928-255-5473 and he does a great job on that kind of thing. E-mail is mendezarreola@hotmail.com to get an exact price, or you can go online for other dentists at http://www.losalgodones.com

All the recommendations I've seen in that area are indeed from people that go to Los Algodones for dental work. You can read more on dentist thoughts/recommendations - including for those in Algodones - here:

FISHERMAN DENTIST SAMMY

I go to Dr Samuel Gomes in TJ - He pulled more teeth from my son than I can count (he had so many extra teeth ...). The guy believes in NO pain. He has amazing hands that are so gentle: fluent English and he is a fisherman as well as his whole family is too !! They come to La Bocana at least once a year and sometimes more often: attached is a pic of him and his uncle and cousins - he's the one in the panama hat
