WOW....that's almost free. Wonder how much "shipping and handling" is?
I think I'll send for one...or two.

There's a coffee/pastery cafe as you enter La Paz from the north on the inland side of Hwy 1 that not only has free internet, but in previousl years
allowed free calls to the US and Canada

Poco Cielo in La Mision offers free wifi along with good food and ocean view.
Most of the tourist section of downtown Ensenada has wifi, but, Mi Kaza in downtown Ensenada(across from the "heads"/on Riveroll between Costero and
Lopez Mateos) adds an authentic Mexican breakfast.
My house on Punta Banda offers free wifi, Pacifico and red wine(currently working on a case of '07 Norton Barrel Select Cab). But, you will need the
Nomad secret handshake, Nomad membership card or not wear a watch for entry. Salud.

Would be nice to have current
confirmation of any/all of these.... that's why I asked about "current" favorites - things are *always* changing in Baja.

Ensenada at El Deli and also next door at the coffee house, I can't remember the name. They are located on the corner of Esquina Octava and Gastelum
by the Mision Hotel.
Guerrero Negro at Don Gus and at the little coffee house as your coming into town on the left, again no name. That one is handy if you need to send an
email or Skype someone using an iphone or smart phone after business hours because you can get the signal outside in the parking lot. Same at El Deli
in Ensenada. They don't open until 8am so I'll do some calls/emails from outside while I wait for her to open.

Doug,
On your restaurant chain wifi request, I forgot about McD and D'Volada. The McD on Reforma at the Ensenada Walmart plaza is a handy wifi spot for
southbound Nomads.
But, the coffee and staff are far superior 1/2 mile north of Wmart and on the other side(east) of Reforma at D'Volada coffee & smoothies. How
could I forget D'Volada, introduced to me by Bajaguy? I did a fair amount of my house design using the wifi there in early 2007. Can confirm it's
still available and I believe all D'Volada shops have wifi.

Bajahowodd- are you sure about Jardines de Baja? Last Feb we stayed at Los Olivos and he said he thought Jardines had wi-fi. We took our laptop into
Jardines and ordered lunch. Asked about wi-fi and they said they didn't have it. I believe the hotel (which is next door) has it but I think you have
to stay there to get the code. Ron

Thanks! | I'm the wrong person to report in on this topic since I'm a hardwired desktop user....but the
coffee shop was still open the when I went to the P.O. a week ago. But I can tell
you absolutely positively for certain that the Exquisito coffee shop on the hwy between El Centenario & Chametla right in front of Campestre
Marantha RV Park is still shooting out a free signal. Hope this helps.

In Ensenada "Caffeino" drive-thru coffee shop offers wi-fi. (I think that's the correct name?). It's In the parking lot between Home Depot and
Walmart. They have outdoor tables and easy parking and access for larger rigs.
In Cd Constitución, there are 2 "Coffee Star" coffee houses, a "Caffeino", and a "Cafe V-something". All are on Hwy 1. I know for sure that the Coffee
Star's have wi-fi, and the other 2 are decorated in a way that makes me think they also offer internet access.

I think you're right. I just saw it yesterday for the first time. I'll have to give it a try.
