Chargers don't deserve it if they can't beat the freaking Bengals. What a letdown to a possibly awesome end to the season

Well like someone said...the bengals?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Just out of curiosity woody estaba de OP....who would be your second choice? Like there is one, right?
BTW-none of my teams are winning either.....I do like Flacco with the Ravens though.

This seasons failure is all on AJ Smith and Spanos for not paying McNeil & Jackson. How do you think the rest of the guys in the locker room felt?
Pro bowl players left to twist in the wind? As a San Diego taxpayer I am looking forward to Chargers moving to LA. Don't let the door hit you on the
way out, Dean.
Rivers is good.

As a former Angeleno, and lifetime member of the Raider Nation, WE DON"T WANT THE CHARGERS IN LOS ANGELES!!!!!!!!
Seems the mantra for Charger fans is always anti-Raiders. Oh yeah Charger fans, GOT RINGS??????

Now I really hope the Chiefs win out, then it won't hurt soooo bad. If the Raiders beat KC next week, the Charger fan pain felt this season will be
horrific!
One word sums this years Chargers up... Inconsistant!

Much as I dislike the Chargers, I would have loved to see a Patriot / Charger super bowl. We would have seen some awesome football.

Probably a good thing, Bob. Had they been consistant, they wouldn't have won any games at all, given their dismal start.
Southern California sports teams have given me deepset guilt. After soooo many years trying to support them only to be taken to the edge and dumped,
I have convinced myself that my fanhood is a jinx.
I sincerly apologize to those who keep the faith, but in time, you'll feel the same way.
Oh well....just wait til next year.

It occurs to me that in order for any San Diego athlete or coach to either be in contention for or win a world championship, they have to be traded.
Drew Breese, Ladanian Tomlinson, Antonio Cromartie, Junior Seau, Bruce Bochy.......

Hard to believe that, with the weak NFC West, the 49ers were still in it until this last ignoble defeat on Sunday. At the beginning of the season they
looked like real contenders. As their season dragged on it was apparent that coaching was the problem. They had the talent. They just kept making
stupid mistakes...like the Chargers. They killed themselves.
Singletary looked like a great choice for a coach. Unfortunately, good tacticians don't always have good people skills. While young millionaire
players need tough coaching, Singletary tactlessly humiliated them and the result was a dismal, failure of a season. His quarterbacks were both peeed
at him and at the same time, had their confidence undermined.
To his credit, Singletary was a gentleman as he accepted his firing, and bowed out graciously, accepting the blame. I think he never understood how to
guide his players and gain their respect; a tragic flaw.
I am not sure what the Charger's problems are. Kind of a group schizophrenia
identity crisis.

["I am not sure what the Charger's problems are."]
I would start with the head coach. I think Turner is an excellent offensive coordinator but not a head coach, he's proven that at three NFL teams.
The Chargers announced that Smith and Turner will be back next year. Look for the same results.

I'm afeared yer right. Add to that the front office trading away all that talent through the years. Would you call that dysfunctional? I think so!
The only way for season ticket holders to recoup their losses is to jump off the Coronado bridge. Their families will benefit.
