Sad day for Gramma
today was one of the saddest days of my life as I had to wave hasta luego to the newest light of my life...mi nieto Izaak... as they left at dawn for
Ensenada to start a new life as a family there. I have been blessed to have been a part of his birth and first couple months of his sweet life...watch
his first smiles and laughs. I will continue to spend time with him via skype but there are huge tears falling on the keyboard this morning as I miss
him so already.
hasta luego Izaak...que Dios te vendiga...and your mamma and papa too. Good luck Sirenita and Adrian...we wish you happiness in your new home.
Maybe we will be seeing more of you Ensenada/pta. banda types more often now!!!

boy could I use a happy hour with you today Dennis!
the Tide Pool bistro will close for the winter and will reopen in the summer...we'll see who shows up to give it new life...in the meantime, campers
can use it as a kitchen!
Adrian was given the job of Manger of Ophelias Restaurant in Sauzal...his dream job was just too good to pass up. So you can go visit him there...the
food is wonderful and they live a block away from there....I will so miss holding little man Izaak but plan to visit often.

oh Shari ... I can only imagine the heartbreak .... sorry amiga ..... those little ones wiggle their way into our very souls, don't they !!!! And as
gramma you only get mostly the FUN part and not the responsibilities of educating
yup, I guess Ensenada and Punta Banda will become VERY popular destinations !!
Adrian is starting anew at another restaurant, I bet. He is soooo talented in the kitchen !
Hopefully those huge fish will keep you plenty busy til Izaak comes back for a gramma visit !!

Our hearts go out to you Shari. What a hard transition for you!! We will be there soon to share our abrazos and offer a lift to Ensenada for you. We
will be visiting them there for sure.
At times like this in my life I have been reminded of the following:
On Children
Kahlil Gibran
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them,
but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children
as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
and He bends you with His might
that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable.
Abrazos Forte,
Mr&Mrsfish

Glad to help (with rules)
Hi Shari
I am flying down to Loreto on March 17th, staying a week or so and driving the Gringo Express RV North and passing thru Vizcaino around Monday, March
28th or Tuesday the 29th. Keep in touch to see if you want to meet.
Just a few rules.
1: No wining about how much you miss you grandchild and for me to drive faster.
2: No “I am sure the Tuna will come soon”
3: No “Fishing was great a couple of weeks ago, I don’t know why they re not biting now”
More rules to follow!

we grow old because we stop playing

Shari - What a great grandmother you have been. I've been following the birth of Izaak from the start....I will always remember our last trip in Oct
and seeing baby Izaak, Sirenita and Adrian. Please keep us posted where they are in Ensenada....My wife and I sneak down there every once in a while
for a quick weekend getaway - (Punta Morro!)

Shari, Shelley and I share your jonesing for your grand-baby. We use Skype now more than ever. They grow so quickly. I'll be sure to stop by the
restaurant on our next trip down. Adrian is DA BOMB when it comes to unique culinary experiences!
